Founded in 2009, SmartBuild is a full-service general contractor working across Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding Hill Country counties.
We started SmartBuild to fix the two things people dread about construction: surprise costs and vanishing accountability.
The name is the method. We treat every build, a custom home or a commercial shell, as a measured problem: draw it precisely, price it in the open, and hand it to one crew that owns the outcome. That is how a project comes in on the number and on the calendar, and how it still holds up a decade later.
Fifteen years in, we build for homeowners and developers across Central Texas who would rather see the plan than hear the pitch.
